VIA Metropolitan Transit, San Antonio’s public transportation service, wanted to focus on ridership efficiency by adding more buses to specific routes that were being affected by heavy traffic which caused slowdowns and customer pain points.
Our goal at talkStrategy was to create a public-facing campaign that promoted VIA, informed route changes, and encouraged people to ride on the bus to experience a new and more efficient type of transportation. This campaign consisted of various kinds of assets including a two-day photography shoot and a video shoot with hired talent. This campaign was made possible through the collaboration of VIA, third-party agencies, and the entire talkStrategy team.
The Frequency Ridership campaign resulted in a 4.6% increased YoY ridership for the 5 improved routes, 25M impressions, and a 2.8K% increase in website users.
